Phan Nation Road Trips:

Supporting the Phantoms on the road can take various forms this season, and the travel committee is exploring interest, cost, and availability in organizing trips to other arenas. More information will be available once the AHL releases next year’s schedule.

Invasion

We know from our own arena that ticket prices can be significantly lower when purchased at the group rate, often avoiding some ticket fees and getting a lower per-seat rate. Plus, we’d all be sitting in the same section, guaranteed! In this scenario, we’d travel independently, although car-pooling could be arranged.

Bus Trips

Motorcoach travel eliminates the worries associated with driving long distances and reduces parking fees. It’s a nice showing for us to arrive together, fresh and ready to cheer on our Phantoms! The downside is organizing the bus and getting it paid for, which requires some planning and a deposit to reserve the bus. We can get as fancy as we want. If enough folks are on board, tailgate parties and other events can be added to the trips. Group rates for events or tickets, plus the savings in gas and parking, can help defray the cost of motor coach transportation.
