We had a nice microphone set up for this meeting and will continue to do such moving forward.

Guest Speaker – Dan Fremuth who works for Service Electric and broadcasts our home games was a fabulous speaker. He talked about his days as a HS Baseball Outfielder, his first hockey game with his dad, and getting hooked. He fielded many great questions and upon completion of discussions we provided him with a $50 gift card and a beverage! Dan stated he would give us a shout-out on his broadcasts.

Treasurer Report – We are all set up and started collecting dues at the discount rate prior to January 1st 2024 when we return to “standard” dues. We will provide ways to do this at the meetings as well as online options. The discount rate is $10 single and $20 family. It will be an additional $5 in 2024. We will have a full treasurer report at the next meeting!

Events – Tyler made a short presentation and had sign-up sheets available for the games in Reading and Wilkes Barre. We will provide ways to sign up online if you cannot attend the meetings.

Keep in mind as in the past for the invasions you need to transport yourself to the game. The idea is to get group tickets and sit together and have fun against an opposing team and/or root for our own team!

Road Trip – We have some initial costs for the weekend in March to Providence but with increased costs on the bus and hotel, this MAY be prohibitive. We can discuss carpooling at a later date if enough people are interested.

Community  – We are pursuing how we as a club can contribute in the community somehow. One way discussed was assisting in the teddy bear counting and distribution at the hospitals and residences. Mark will get details and send correspondence accordingly. If interested, please reach out and get your name on the list.

50/50 –  We have reached out to get our name on the list for the “Charity support of the game”. We would man the 50/50 booths and take home a percentage of the gross to build our kitty. Kristin Folk with the Phantoms is working with Mark on this. Most dates are filled but they get cancellations and there will hopefully be playoff games.

Bru Daddys – Food, Beverage and Service with our 10% Discount was very good as it was last meeting. Silicia and Pete were our servers.

Providence Fan Club – They will be here on Dec 9^th for Teddy Bear Toss. Mark would like to have 10 people join me at 4:30 that night at Bru Daddys to break bread and have fun with them prior to the game! Please reach out and sign up if interested!
